From his extended hikes in the Icelandic highlands Árni Rúnar has been inspired to create work in the spirit of natures own symmetrical abstractions. Walking and observing the earth in the short and fertile arctic summer Árni has been tuning in to these magical dimensions. His oil paintings are an expression of natures inherent tapestry of harshness and beauty.
